Crystal structure of a novel polymer of hexakis(μ-diethyl phosphato)(triethyl phosphate)dicerium(III), C₃₀H₇₅Ce₂O₂₈P₇

The crystal structure of [Ce₂(μ-DEP)₆(TEP)]_n, (DEP = diethyl phosphate), (TEP = triethyl phosphate) was determined by the X-ray diffraction method. This polymeric complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, with space group P2₁/c, and the following unit-cell dimension: α = 19.517(4)Å, β = 22.646(5)Å, c = 26.494(5)°Å, ß = 102.050(5)°, Z = 8 and V = 11452(4)Å₃. The final R value is 0.0614 for 27532 measured reflections. 2006 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
