The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 2C₂H ₁₀N₂²⁺·-C₁₀H ₂O₈^4-·2H₂O, contains one cation, one half-anion and one water molecule; the anion is centrosymmetric. Intermolecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds seem to be effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure, resulting in the formation of a supramolecular structure. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
