Crystal structure of a novel polymer of bis(μ-dimethyl phosphato)(dimethyl sulfoxide)(μ₃-nitrato)lanthanum(III), C₆H₁₈P₂O₁₂NSLa

The crystal structure of [La(μ-DMP)₂(μ₃-NO₃)(DMSO)]_n, (DMP = dimethyl phosphate), (DMSO = dimethyl sulfoxide) was determined by the X-ray diffraction method. This polymeric complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, with space group P2₁/c, and four [La(μ-DMP)₂(μ₃-NO₃)(DMSO)]_n per unit cell. The unit-cell dimensions are a = 17.157(3)Å, b =10.214(2)Å, c = 10.224(2)Å, with V = 1774.5(6)ų. The final R value is 0.0440 for 4643 measured reflections.2006 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
