چکیده مقاله
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C14H13N2)2[PtCl6], contains one independent protonated 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthrolinium cation and half of a centrosymmetric [PtCl6]2- anion. The Pt ion has an octa-hedral coordination. Intra-molecular N - H⋯Cl and N - H⋯N hydrogen bonds help to stabilize the structure. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
