The title compound, C23H25BrO3, was synthesized by the reaction of p-bromo-benzaldehyde with dimedone and HClO4/SiO2 in EtOH. In the mol-ecule, the dihydro-pyran ring adopts a boat conformation and the two cyclohexene rings are in a trans conformation. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
