چکیده مقاله
Two five-coordinate gold(III) complexes of [Au(6,6'-dmbipy)Cl3] (1) and [Au(6,6'-dmbipy)Br3] (2) were prepared from the reactions of AuCl3 and AuBr3 with 6,6'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (6,6'-dmbipy), respectively in mixture of CH3OH/CH3CN. Both complexes were characterized by IR, UV-Vis, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopies and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The NMR study confirmed the five-coordinated nature of titled complexes and also their stability in aprotic solvent, in temperature range from -30 to +70°C. Copyright © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
