چکیده مقاله

In this study, the oxoindolin-3-ylidenehydrazinyl-spiroindoline-pyridine framework was efficiently synthesized via a multi-component reaction involving isatins, malononitrile, and 2-nitroethene-1,1-diylbis(hydrazine) in ethanol at ambient temperature under ultrasonic irradiation within 60 min. The protocol employs readily available reagents, catalyst-free conditions, mild reaction conditions, and straightforward purification, while ultrasonication enhances the reaction rate and overall efficiency, affording the desired products in satisfactory yields. Subsequently, the synthesized compounds were evaluated in vitro for their antibacterial activities. © 2026 Elsevier Ltd.
