چکیده مقاله

It is of prime importance to develop high-performance supercapacitors as clean and renewable energy storage systems in line with sustainable development goals. Utilizing cost-effective and flexible platforms enhances their efficiency in the fabrication of energy storage devices. This study reports an innovative strategy for designing a flexible supercapacitor based on the integration of zeolitic imidazolate framework-67, cobalt oxide nanoparticles, N-doped porous carbon, and reduced graphene oxide, denoted as the Co3O4NPs@NPC/rGO nanocomposite. The proposed supercapacitor's performance is thoroughly evaluated through electrochemical studies in 0.5 M Na2SO₄ as the electrolyte, demonstrating a high specific capacitance of 1311 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 and excellent cyclic stability, retaining 94.9 % of its specific capacitance at a current density of 4 A g−1 after 3000 consecutive cycles. Moreover, the obtained specific capacitance, specific energy, and specific power of 812 F g−1, 262 Wh kg−1, and 720 W kg−1, respectively, confirm the practical applicability of the proposed supercapacitor. The advanced design strategy, combined with the promising results presented herein, holds significant potential for the development of high-performance supercapacitors, driving forward the advancement of cost-effective and portable electronic devices on a large scale. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.
