چکیده مقاله

Monitoring the residual levels of enrofloxacin (ENR) in food matrices is highly demanded due to its significant impacts on human health, environmental safety, and the risk of bacterial resistance. In this study, an advanced electrochemical aptasensor is introduced for selective tracking of ENR in cow milk and river water using a combination of CoOx nano-dandelion (CoOxNDs) and hollow gold nanospheres (HGNSs) as the nanocomposite. The porous structure of the nanocomposite provides a high-surface-area scaffold on the surface electrode to improve aptasensor performance. Additionally, the HGNSs serve as a dual-functional platform to anchor the underlying layer and immobilize the specific Apt sequence on the outer surface. The proposed aptasensor demonstrates a wide linear detection range (LDR) from 20 pM to 1 nM with a low limit of detection (LOD) of 6.67 pM. The environmental friendliness of the designed approach has been validated using two internationally recognized green chemistry ranking systems. The excellent selectivity, stability, and applicability of the aptasensor in monitoring real samples with satisfactory results may pave the way for further investigations in the quality control of food matrices. © 2024
