چکیده مقاله
This study presents a rapid and straightforward method for synthesizing a series of novel functionalized benzo-sulfonyl-imine derivatives. The process employs a copper-catalyzed, one-pot, three-component C–C cross-coupling reaction involving various aryl halides, isocyanides, and sulfinate salts. Remarkably, the reaction is carried out in THF at ambient temperature without the requirement for any ligand. Noteworthy features of this protocol include the utilization of readily accessible and simple starting materials, mild copper-catalyzed conditions, elimination of column chromatography for purification, the successful synthesis of fifteen new compounds, and consistently high yields ranging from 72 % to 92 %. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd
